Sharon Lee

Executive Director

Sharon is a tenured leader in healthcare and joined The Harbor at Opelika in 2021. Throughout her career, she has served as both a medical practice manager and more recently, a hospital administrator. Sharon is a Certified Medical Practice Manager (CMPM) and Alabama licensed Assisted Living Administrator (ALA).

Memory care is near and dear to Sharon’s heart. Having two close family members with dementia, she understands what caregiving for a loved one is like. Sharon hopes that through her own personal experiences, she can provide comfort and reassurance to those in the same position as they travel this path.

Born and raised in Opelika, Alabama, Sharon married her childhood sweetheart, Terry. Their son, Trey, and his wife, Dana, brought them their most precious gifts in their three grandchildren. Today Sharon and Terry make their home in Hatchechubbee with their dogs, Buster, Chloe and Prissy. All are allowed to live there in exchange for service to Buttons, the cat.

When Sharon isn’t working, she enjoys riding her Harley, camping, boating and, of course, spoiling her grandchildren!

Sharon is proud of the team at The Harbor at Opelika. Her goal is for everyone to be treated with the love, kindness, dignity and respect they deserve.
